How to work with optimize

Another way to smooth curves is to optimize them.

Step 1

Below picture show the line before optimize, select it

Step 2

Choose Modify and click the Optimize

You will get the optimize dialog box as below picture

Step 3

Drag the Smoothing slider to specify the degree of smoothing.

Step 4

Select use multiple passes (slower) to repeat the smoothing process until no further

optimization can be accomplished; this is the same as repeatedly choosing Optimize with the same elements are selected.

Step 5

Select Show totals message to display an alert box that indicates the extent of the

optimization when smoothing is complete.

Step 6

Click OK

So, the object is optimized as below picture:
