How to work with rewind

Rewind is used to set the play head to first frame.

Picture below show the play head at 100 frame, so we can use Rewind to set it back to 1 frame

Step 1

Choose Control and then click Rewind

It will get back to frame 1 as picture below:

Step 1

Choose Window and then click the Output

The output window will appear. If there are syntax errors in a script, the Output window will appears automatically.

Click the Onion Skin button.

All frames between the Start Onion Skin and End Onion Skin markers (in the Timeline header) are superimposed as one frame in the Movie window.

To choose sound compression options, you use the options in the Export Settings area of the Sound Properties dialog box. The options available depend on the compression method you select. You can also use the Sound Properties dialog box to update sounds that you have modified in an external sound editor, or to test the sound.

Step 1

Select a sound in the Library Window and click the Properties icon at the bottom of the Library Window.

The sound properties dialog box will appear as picture below:

It shows the sound file type, size.

Choose MP3 from the compression pop up list.

When you change the Compression list box to mp3, which show the file size just 1.3kB.

Click Update button to update the setting

Select the layer

Select the effect from the drop down list.

Left Channel/Right Channel plays sound in the left or right channel only

Fade Left to Right/Fade Right to Left shifts the sound from one channel to the other

Fade In gradually increases the amplitude of a sound over its duration

Fade Out gradually decreases the amplitude of a sound over its duration.

Choose a synchronization option from the Sync pop-up menu:

Start is the same as Event, except that if the sound is already playing, a new instance of the sound is started.

Stop silences the specified sound.

Stream synchronizes the sound for playing on a Web site. Flash forces animation to keep pace with stream sounds.

To adding sound to movie, first must insert sound file to flash, it support WAV and MP3 sound file type.

Step 1

Choose File and then click the Import to import sound file.

The sound will store in library as picture below:

You can click the play button to hear the sound.

Select the layer where you want to add sound

Step 4

Drags the sound to stage, then sound has been added which show as picture below

Play the movie to hear the sound.

The Button Library contains the button that can be used.

Choose Window and then click the Common Libraries and select the Buttons

When you scale, rotate, and skew instances, groups, and type with the Transform panel, Flash saves the original size and rotation values with the object. Thus, you can remove the last transformation applied and restores the original values.

Select the object and rotate it and scale the object size

We can restore the object by default. Choose Modify and select the Transform and then choose the Remove Transform

Up mean the button is release, Over mean mouse over the button, Down mean click the mouse, Hit defining the area that will respond to the mouse click. This area is invisible in the movie

Draw a rectangle to stage, then Click the second frame, labeled Over and choose Insert Keyframe

Change the color of rectangle.

Click the third frame, labeled Down and choose Insert Keyframe

Drag it to the stage, but it is unable to work like button. So, we choose Control and then click the Enable Simple Buttons
